REL

- and the things that leave me feeling rella good -
Oh! To have my own library! This wistful illustration by Scottish talent KT Smail makes me pine for my life-long dream of having une bibliothèque all to myself.
My ideal existence would be incomplete without one. I envisage towering shelves boasting beautiful spines: a prized collection of bound hallucinatory words, and archives of visual wonder. Novels, design books, fashion magazines. Long ladders on casters that tickle the ceiling as they glide across the walls… yes, yes, please.
I wish to own a stationery set emblazoned with ‘EX LIBRIS REL’ - that is, From the Library of Rel - for I shall use my precious library as a space to pen my most important letters.
